Jazz Juniors

International Contest of Young Jazz Groups "Jazz Juniors" is one of the oldest jazz festivals in Poland and the only one that presents the most talented young jazz musicians. The Festival gives opportunity to compare famous artists with those who take their first steps. It is Rotunda, where during past 30 years the brightest stars of Polish jazz gained the audience and international professionals' appreciation, i.e.

The contest spots jazz prodigies who enhance the Polish and international jazz music. For a few years the Festival has been becoming international, since it's hosted bands of Germany, Italy, Hungary, Sweden, Czech Republic, Austria and USA. Being aware that our Festival may be one of very few events to present their music, we do our best to provide the winners with the best promotion. Hence, recording session in a professional studio is one of the prizes. The fame of the Festival is confirmed by the names of the jury members. You could find or could have found among them:

We prepare every single project as a part of the Festival that is attended by Polish and foreign musicians. We owe very much to the biggest personalities of Polish jazz world, who influence the event in a creative and artistic way and help to preserve its unique character.
